Whew, I haven't been posting on this blog nearly enough.

I got a letter about the Dystopian Wars project that I recently finished days ago and I am only posting now...

Heya,

Okay, first, I got and was able to go through the DysWars stuff and all I can say is that it's awesome.  

Let's handle some of the professional end of things...

-your packaging and shipping could not have been better.  The attention you paid to secure all the models and then the package overall was top notch.  

-your communication through out was spectacular.  Your response time is extremely short and you aren't afraid to ask questions.  You constantly showed WIP pics and were very pleasant to deal with.

-the pricing of the job was solid.  I do not feel that I overpaid for your services and in the overall scheme of things for the service you delivered I am very pleased.

-the actual paint job is very solid.  You used a few different techniques and displayed solid brush control.  The models do not appear "rushed" and your final selection of the color palette worked really well.

-I will not be hesitating to recommend you to my friends as a painting service.

So Thank you very much.  Overall the experience was extremely positive.

I just heard from the fellow whose Mantis Warriors I painted a while ago, and it pretty much made my day:

"First off, thanks again for doing such a nice job with the load of mantis warrior infantry that you finished for me last June – I fielded them in a small tournament held at GenCon in August and finished 5th overall – and got quite of a lot of compliments on my miniatures and their paint job; which, to just let you know, I owned up and said that I didn’t paint them I had a professional do it."-JP

I just received a very nice e-mail from a client for whom I had just finished some models, pictures of which a can be seen here.

"I received the models in the mail yesterday. They look great and I am pleased with how they look, honestly they look better than the pictures, I know you said no comments on camera in your video but honestly the pictures and video dont give the models justice because what I am seeing is much better than the pictures on the website."

I got a message this morning from the proud owner of the Thunderwolf Cavalry that I completed a couple of days ago, and he was very happy with his models!

"Im extremely happy with Trevy's painting service, not only did they save me heaps of time having to convert / model / magnetize / paint my Thunder wolves, but they also did a very good job at it while still keeping the service at a very reasonable price . Future projects are already planned by me to continue to use thier service, as its really a getaway heaven for lazy hobbist yet serious gamers like me (i still want cool looking and painted models even though I'm lazy :D)."

Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days - I really haven't had anything so groundbreaking that I felt the need to post about it.

I did just get a very nice message back from the gentleman who commissioned the Mantis Warriors.  He had this to say:

"I received the Mantis Warriors yesterday, and in a word, fantastic!  While I know you were paid for your services, I just wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for doing such a fine job with so many models.  My two personal favorites are the chaplain and techmarine – they both flat out rock.  After I got done unpacking all the models I had them lined up and thought, wow, I want more; and I think that’s a great sign of the type of job you did with distinctly older models.  Thanks again for all the time and trouble you went to completing the project.  I hope to do business with you again in the future."
