So, remember that part in which I said that I wasn't going to get a batrep out this week?  I lied.

Like I said in my video, the Tau army featured in this report is for sale.   It's got 6 tanks, 7 battlesuits, 24 Fire Warriors, 10 Kroot, 6 Stealth Suits, additional options for most of the models (Ion Cannons rather than Railguns for the Hammerheads, additional weapons for the battlesuits etc.) and some other odds and ends.  More information will be available in the future.

My area got swamped with snow right after Christmas, which left my building without power over the weekend.  I went out as soon as the snow was plowed so I'm not sure if it's back on, but needless to say I haven't gotten much work done lately.  Right now I'm sitting in my local game store, but attendance is low due to the blizzard, so I don't expect to actually play.

Except maybe some Halo.

Yes, I think I"ll do that.

I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas to everyone, with lots of wargaming related gifts involved, and I'm sure that Santa does too!

I would also like to remind you all that I am taking messages all day and will be throughout the Holiday season, so don't hold back on those projects!

The wind is blowing outside my studio and the snowflakes are falling in their thousands, coating the ground in what look like enormous pillows of cold.  It makes me happy that I'm inside my nice warm building and sends my mind to a place on the other side of the globe entirely.

How about Egypt?

This is a Andalusian horse model that I've painted up with to a nice Level 4 quality for the holidays as a gift.  There is some very good freehand on this model and I am very happy with how it turned out.

Yeah, I know its not Warhammer and therea are no swords or guns involved, so dry your eyes petal.  Apparently I do horsies too.

I just finished up a test model for a Tyranid project that I am working on, and it is looking pretty sexy.

It's Level 3, using the color scheme of the Arachnids from Starship Troopers.  Yeah, I love that movie too...

This whole week that annoying christian holiday has been getting in my way in all sorts of annoying manners.  That, and the season that it is associated with...

I took a trip down to my local game store, but bad weather and atrocious traffic made what should have been a 20 minute drive take two and a half hours.  It sucked.  No battle report this week guys, sorry.

Anyway, to shorten the message a little, everything's been going pretty slow lately, so I haven't gotten much work done.  I hope to pick it up after the holidays, though, so look forward to that.

I've got some pictures for you guys of some Orcs that I was threatening to show everybody.  Well, here they are!

First up we have some Level 2 Orc Boys with assorted equipment, sort of like the Black Orcs.

Here are also some Black Orcs at Level 3, made up of both a plastic boxed set and one of the old Black Orc command blister packs.

And last but not least, here's a Level 4 Grimgor Ironhide model.  He looks purdy.

There are also some Goblin Wolf Riders, but there is not a lot special about them - I they turned out all right, but I am honestly not a huge fan of the models, so check 'em out in the photo gallery on the left.
